Calculation of pH (acidity) of solutions :: Vypocet pH (kyslosti) roztokov

! For acidity calculations I need to know the molar concentration of [H+] ions in a litre of solution [mol/l]
! Pri vypoctoch kyslosti musim poznat molarnu koncentraciu [H+] ionov v litri roztoku [mol/l]

The molar concentration of the solution is pre-specified [H+] = 1.10-7 (e.g. water)
Molarna koncentracia roztoku je: (zadane je vopred [H+] = 1.10-7 - napr. voda)


NOTE - Poznamka
For example, if I have 3.645 grams
of hydrochloric acid - HCl dissolved in a solution, its molecular weight according to the periodic table is 35.45 + 1.00 = 36.45 g/mol.

Thus, in one liter there is 3.645 : 36.45 = 0.1, i.e., [H+] = 0.1 mol/liter
Napr. ak mam vo vode rozpustenych 3,645 gramov kyseliny chlorovodikovej - HCl, tak jej molekulova hmotnost podla udajov z periodickej tabuLky je 35.45 + 1,00 = 36,45 g/mol.

V jednom litri je teda 3.645 : 36.45 = 0.1, t. j. [H+] = 0.1 mol/l
