On September 28-29, 2023, the first international conference was held at the Institute of Computer Science of the Siedlce University, Poland. Conference title: Intelligent Systems and Information Technologies. Supporting People with Special Needs” (ISIT 2023).
This conference is an international forum for researchers and practitioners interested in the theory and progress in the field of intelligent systems and information technologies and the applications of artificial intelligence methods.

The inaugural lecture entitled Watanabe Theorem and Fundamental Issues in Clustering , was delivered by prof. Ph.D. engineer Mieczyslaw Klopotek (Institute of Computer fundamental Sciences of Polish Academy of Sciences.
The opening lecture on the second day untitled “Opening Lecture on Artificial Intelligence. Challenges and Threats. was given by prof. Ph.D. engineer Andrzej Barczak (Siedlce University)
In the conference took part Scientists from both Poland and abroad (Slovakia and Ukraine - partners of EDUPORT project). Presentations concerned: knowledge identification and analysis methods, intelligent information and communication systems and applications of artificial intelligence methods. This year's edition of the conference was prepared by the organizing committee composed of: Dr. Artur Niewiadomski (chairman), Dr. Dariusz Mikulowski (deputy chairman), Dr. hab.
